Join us for our April Luncheon Meeting

Mike Cyze will be speaking about what's happening in the Dubuque Community Schools.  Mike currently serves as the director of school and community relations for the district.  In this role, he serves as the chief communication officer for this k-12 district (one of the eight largest in Iowa) including 18 schools and an Alternative Learning Center.  A member of the Superintendent's Cabinet, he oversees the district's community relations team including a web and print designer and two full-time video producers.  He also serves as the district's primary media contact, is the crisis management lead and provides strategic communication counsel to the Superintendent, board of Education and other district administrators.

   

Cost is $10 for members and $15 for non members

Dr. Wee will be speaking and sharing his knowledge about NICC with us. Dr. Liang Chee Wee was appointed president of northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) on October 5, 2011.  Prior to this appointment, Dr. Wee served as the interim president and was provost for the Calmar campus of NICC since 2007.  Before NICC, Dr. Wee was a faculty member and he assumed various administrative roles including department chair and associate dean at Luther College for 15 years.

 

Cost is $10 for members and $15 for non members
